Fair Harvest  now offers one of the most relaxing and versatile venues in the area.

Positioned on the corner of our farm and only 5km out of Margaret River the venue has ample out door areas and gardens to explore.

The building itself has great facilities including  commercial kitchen, disabled toilet, easy parking, ceiling mounted projector and large projection screen.


At Fair Harvest you are truly in a rural setting yet only 5 minutes away from town, we are also close to chalets, wineries, walk trails, cycle trails and beaches

making us an ideal venue for just about any occasion.

While most people opt to use the beautifully renovated farm shed, others have chosen to use our old barn, garden or lawn areas for their custom made event.

Every event held at Fair Harvest has had its own special flavour and we encourage you to let your imagination run free on how you create your own atmosphere.

We can organise or recommend caterers for you but you are also welcome to simply hire the venue and do your own catering.

We give you the freedom to plan your event  and encourage you to care for the environment and create a beautiful and eco friendly experience for you and your attendees.

The Cedar Room

Room Hire Only

Venue hire of the Cedar Room & surrounding gardens

10 Trestle tables  (striped tablecloths available)

60 Chairs ( mix of styles)

Under cover area surrounds the building on three sides, allowing for outside seating for 40 people

$  44 per hr    inc. gst$ (2h min)

300 per day inc. gst (10 h max)

These pricings are for small events only and do not apply to weddings and larger events.

The Kitchen

 Kitchen Hire Only

Venue hire of the commercial kitchen including

2 fridges, 2 large commercial ovens,

A large commercial cook top,

Bench space,

Washing up facilities including a dishwasher

 

Please bring your own utensils and cooking items.

If using an outside caterer the are licensed and insured.  

 $ 33 per hr inc. gst (2h min)

$225 per day inc. gst (10 h max)


Deposit, non-refundable 50% of hire price.  Final Payment due 5 days prior to your event

Catering Options

We can provide all your catering  needs. We harvest fresh ingredients straight from the garden and create tasty, healthy meals for you to enjoy.  All our meals are organic and as much as possible is grown on the farm.

Tea/Coffee                                                      $4.00 per person

Morning Tea / Coffee, Cake and/or biscuits         $7.50 per person

Morning tea,Lunch  and all day tea and coffee     $25 per person

Morning tea, Lunch, all day tea and coffee  and dinner
$50 per person

These packages are catering for a minimum of 10 people.

Menu options vary due to what is available from the garden. (Gluten Free options available).

Final catering numbers required 2 days prior to event

If you do not require any catering but need access to kitchen for small use a minimal fee of $ 33 will be charged( depending on participant numbers).

eg : use of fridge for students lunchbox, warming meals, use of urn, mugs, tea & coffee pots..etc

  -the kitchen will have to be left as you found it-

VENUE SPACE AND CONTENT OVERVIEW

The Cedar Room

A light and airy space, overlooking the lawns and garden beds.  With windows on two sides and with an open serving hatch  linked to the kitchen.  

Size: 10m x 8m

Capacity:  Classroom style 30, Theatre room style x 60,  Standing 80 

Facilities: Overhead Projector, Screen, Whiteboard, and a pot belly for cozy winter use.

The Kitchen

Size: 8m x 4m

Capacity:  12 people

Facilities:  Our commercial kitchen is equipped with 2 fridges, 2 large commercial ovens, a large commercial cook-top, bench space, washing up facilities.  

The Old Barn

Size: 7 x 11

Capacity:  

Facility: A beautiful rustic space, our old barn is nearing 100 years old and has been restored with poles from our plantation. This space has been used on numerous occasions for a variety of events….all you need is your imagination.

Please remember that this is an optional space that can be hired in conjunction with the full venue hire day and is not available on its own.

CATERING

We can cater for you or you are welcome to hire a caterer of your choice, our commercial kitchen includes 2 fridges, 2 large, commercial ovens, a large commercial cook top, bench space, washing up facilities including a dishwasher. A copy of the caterer’s licence and insurance is required. Caterers will need to bring their own utensils and cooking items. The Fair Harvest kitchen must be left as it was found. *Guidelines provided.

 

COFFEE MACHINE

Cafe style coffee machine is available for hire, but it must be operated by a qualified Barista $55 inc.gst

Alternatively, machine including Barista organised by Fair Harvest

 

ALCOHOL

Fair Harvest is a private property and does not have a liquor license. You can provide alcohol to your guests, but it cannot be sold. This means that you have the choice of your favourite wines and no corkage fees!  

Bar and service staff must have an RSA and you and your staff are responsible for your guests and the distribution of alcohol.

 

FURNITURE

An eclectic mix of handmade, rustic and cafe furniture for your use, an inventory follows.

 

CAMPING ON-SITE

Please discuss this at the time of booking.  Conditions may apply.  

(We have no electric power sites – remember this is a working farm!)

 

ACCOMMODATION

We do have two accommodation options, a Tipi  and a House Truck these can be viewed on AirBnB.

We are close to numerous chalets including the beautiful Hilltop Studios also located on the farm

 

AUDIO VISUAL SYSTEM

We have power points on the outside wall of the Cedar Room, but you will need to provide your own sound system / entertainment.  All music and events must be finished by 1.00 am.

This includes the music turned off, we are aware of our neighbours.

 

CLEANING OF VENUE

Please leave the venue tidy including replacing all furniture.

The Fair Harvest Venue must be left as it was found. *Guidelines provided.  

Cleaning can be organised (including removal of rubbish from site). $35 per hour.

 

PARKING

We have plenty of car park spaces (up to 80 cars), designated disabled parking bays and a nearby paddock for overflow parking.

 

CANCELLATION OF BOOKING OR DATE CHANGES

To cancel or change the date of your event, you must notify us at Fair Harvest in writing two months prior to event. For Weddings please refer to wedding package.

 

PAYMENT OPTIONS

A 50% (non refundable) booking fee of the Event  Package is required to confirm your booking.

Bonds (only required for larger events) are returned up to one week after your event

 

Prices valid until end of financial year 2017.

At Fair Harvest we have an eclectic mix of furniture in and around the hall and lawn area. These are all available for you to use and can be moved to suit your style as long as you return them after your event.
