Eco Yoga Retreat, Margaret River
Thurs 14 to Mon 18 October 2021
Retreat away enveloped by the beauty of our own amazing state, in Margaret River WA. Nestled between some of the worlds most spectacular coastline and the abundant south west forest, our retreat place is a working permaculture farm, which holds the ethics that are in harmony with those of yoga – ‘care for the earth, care for the people, share resources’.If you have been thinking about joining us now is the time to secure the last few places. In this retreat we aim to take time out from the demands of busy life, and a stressful year, to give ourselves the time and space to immerse in yoga practices, meditations, and healthy meals that are weaved together to nourish the body, heart and mind.We encourage you to ‘unplug’ if you can, or minimise your time checking in online. There will be times for silence, time for discussion, time for meditation and reflection and time for yoga asana practice. And then when we re-enter back into our daily lives we can do so feeling recharged, refreshed and renewed, ready to face the challenges from a relaxed, grounded, blissful and mindful basis.
Practice slowing down, unplugging and training in attentional skills, to give the mind space to relax, focus and rest in its own peaceful nature.
Learn and practice meditations that open the heart, still and quite the mind, and deepen our relationships to others.
The body responds well to the mindful, whole body integrated movement of yoga practice. Each practice will aim to assist the body in releasing tension and building strength. Delicious healthy meals will be prepared for you.
Our morning asana, pranayama and meditation yoga practice will aim to refresh and rejuvenate the body and mind with an energetic, mindful approach.
Yin Yoga and Yoga Nidra
The afternoon session will be a restful and relaxing yin yoga practice followed by yoga nidra or similar relaxation.
Meditations to slow down, develop attentional skills and ultimately become familiar with our own hearts and minds.
Our schedule will include morning hatha yoga and meditation, afternoon yin and relaxation, and evening meditations. During the day you are free to relax, read a book, go for a walk around the farm or take a short outing. Weather permitting we may make a trip to the beach together. This retreat is the longest local retreat we have run so we include one full day of silent retreat with four practice sessions that day.
Fair Harvest is an incredible working permaculture and eco friendly farm. The property has a minimal environmental footprint as:

This peaceful setting is conducive and supportive for a weekend of yoga, meditation and delicious, nutritious vegetarian food. This nature based retreat is sure to reset your body and mind into their natural state.
All accomodation on site is either camping or glamping. We know this may not suit everyone, so we have not included accommodation in the retreat cost.
