Farm Tour – Fair Harvest Permaculture
Take a closer look at the workings of the Fair Harvest Permaculture Farm with an hour-long guided tour through the gardens and farm.
We’ll show you an amazing range of plants and trees, veggie gardens, orchards, compost and worm systems and native revegetation work.
See how this all fits together in a permaculture scheme to use water carefully, build soil, grow great food, attract wildlife and restore the land.
Depending on the day, we could be feeding the goats, geese and chickens and maybe collecting an egg or two.
When to come & what to bring
Be prepared for the weather! Suggest solid shoes, hats, sunscreen, rain jackets and umbrellas, depending on the forecast.
We aim to produce as little ‘waste’ as possible, so please consider what you bring to the site that may create waste. Reusable drink bottles, coffee cups and lunch containers are all encouraged, and we ask you take any waste home with you or leave it in the correct bin.
