Halloumi Making Workshop Friday February 23rd 2018 1 – 5 pm
This an introductory workshop into the world of cheese making.
Ros will demonstrate to participants how to make a very simple and quick version of halloumi using farm fresh milk. Participants will then work in small groups to make a batch of halloumi. Using a range of seasonal ingredients, each group will then prepare and cook their own halloumi dish creation to enjoy at the end of the session with the whole group.
Cheeselinks products are available for purchase at the end of the session.
What to bring:
Please bring a freshly laundered apron, teatowel and handtowel, a whisk, and your enthusiasm. Participants should wear flat, comfortable closed in shoes, and tie back long hair. Although there will be a range of ingredients available, feel free to also bring any seasonal produce from your garden which you may want to share or cook with your halloumi, and a bottle of wine or other liquid refreshment to enjoy at the end of the session with your cooked halloumi creations.
Some participants also like to bring a camera.
Milk, workshop supplies, and tuition notes are all supplied by Ros.
