Mindfulness and Nature weekend retreat

12th – 14th June 2020

Seeing life and the world through the lens of mindfulness allows us to see its infinite struggle and beauty with increasing calm awareness and compassion encouraging a healthy relationship to the miracle of daily life.


Schedule:

Friday 12th – Meet and greet at 5.30pm; Dinner 6.00pm; Mind and Life: Refuge & the foundations of retreat 7.30pm

Saturday 13th – Mindfulness: Establishing a practice 9am & A mindful exchange 3.30pm

Sunday 14th – Moving into meditation 9am

Cost for accommodation, meals; and Dana contribution for teacher support.

Camping on-site:
Tent site, including fully catered meals: $130 pp
Plus, teacher support; suggested Dana contribution for the three days $80 – $150pp

Staying off-site:

Facilities fee $60pp
Pre-ordered meals: $15 per meal
Plus, teacher support; suggested Dana contribution for the three days is $80 – $150

Day visitors:

Facilities day use fee: $20

Pre-ordered meals: $15 per meal

Plus, teacher support; suggested Dana contribution per session $15 – $30

The facilitator operates solely on the generosity, contributions and donations, received by those who attend. Dana means the wisdom in freely given fair exchange. Your financial assistance is central to the inclusive and on-going nature of these retreats. We are very grateful for all your support.

Facilitator Ian Hackett of Tig-Le Community Dharma House Margaret River has a wide background in bushland regeneration, permaculture and environmental conservation in environs including the Kimberley’s, Southwest WA, North Queensland, and Northern Rivers Region NSW. Ian combines his environment and nature experiences with 13 years’ Dharma teachings in an Ecodharma approach.
