Global Mindfulness Foundations Weekend Retreat, 11th – 13th December 2020

This retreat is an introductory weekend to the practices of Global mindfulness. The sessions are designed to share an overview understanding of what mindfulness is and how to begin practicing.

In the earliest of times mindfulness was secular (non-religious and worldly) and sacred in nature (deeply spiritual). At Tig-Le House, our link to mindfulness training is an ancient Global / Universal one. Enlivened through cross-cultural Buddhist perspectives, drawing on traditional and contemporary trainings, relevant and applicable in the context of modern life including our relationships with families, friends, communities, society, and environment.

Mindful breath nature retreat: Natures breathing body, 8th – 10th January 2021

All life is breathing moment to moment, every plant and animal, the living soil, the oceans and forests, climate and the ecosphere, a continual exchange. How often do we stop and bring awareness to this vital principle of life?

A valuable remedy for the mind and heart, mindfulness of breath is the practice of stopping and observing, anchoring, and stabilizing the mind, purposeful restfulness, and a deepening calm.

Mindfulness, nature, beauty, and life.

To join in on the mindful breath retreat requires an understanding of the foundations of mindfulness practice as taught through Tig-Le House prior to attending. Please contact us on [email protected]
