Open Edible Gardens \u00a0Oct 26th and 27th 2013<\/h1>\n

\"in<\/a>Open Edible Gardens Weekend 26\/27th<\/sup> October<\/p>\n

This is your chance to see twelve local edible landscapes and meet the gardeners who have developed them.<\/p>\n

The gardens range from small plots to paddock, private to public, ordered to eclectic. Some have been established for many years, others only a few months.<\/p>\n

Walk and talk with the gardeners and share their experience in design, soil preparation, water needs and plant selection. These are not show gardens but real-life productive spaces created by busy people who care about what they and their family eat.<\/p>\n

Each garden is open for three hours once during the weekend.<\/p>\n

NB Some gardens will have plants for sale.<\/p>\n

Fair Harvest will be open on Saturday from 8am till 2pm for coffee, snacks and self guided tours of \u00a0the garden and on Sunday from 4 pm onwards to celebrate the weekend with a glass of wine, a local taste plate and some music.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Programs cost $10 (all proceeds going to Transition Margaret River<\/strong>). Programs can be bought by signing up below\u00a0or picked up at Fair Harvest between 8 am and 2 pm \u00a0on Sat 26th .<\/p>\n

Each garden is only open for half a day (3 each morning and afternoon) so don’t get your program too late.<\/p>\n\n
