Immersion Weekends at Fair Harvest
Come and visit us on the farm for a weekend of fun and learning. Bring your family and friends and enjoy a hands on weekend tailored to your needs.
This program is suitable for families and small groups, if you have a larger group please contact us. Here is a suggested program for a weekend of fun and immersion….other options are available by request.
Friday Evening
- Arrive and welcome
- Orientation tour
- BBQ in the old barn
Saturday Morning
- Understanding our food growing and animal systems (interactive tour)
- Open back truck ride looking at broad acre systems
- Picnic on the farm (place depending on the season..could be in the olive grove, by the dam, in the old barn)
Saturday Afternoon
How permaculture can make a difference in our lives (activity based group learning in the comfort of the newly renovated farm shed………..children’s activities provided)
Saturday Evening 6.30 dinner……seasonal feast 8.00 permaculture film and discussion
Sunday Morning
Working with nature Hands on morning
- In the garden; new plants from old propagating…..seeds and cuttings
- In the Kitchen…..sour dough bread and sprouting
- Harvesting seasonal food and plants
morning tea then activity option……
1. creating a fabulous lunch together from our harvest or
2. creating a wicked compost heap
long, late lunch……..relax,

Group Immersion Weekend …………ideal for friends and families
- Friday night to sunday afternoon
- $260 per adult (plus accommodation)
- $120 for kids between 5 and 12
- Under 5‘s free
- Includes full program and 2 lunches and 2 evening meals.
- Minimum 4 adults maximum 10 adults (for larger groups please contact us)

- $400 per adult (plus accommodation)
